is this the final schedule?
Just received this revised schedule today. While there have been last-minute changes, additions or subtractions in the past, this is pretty close to the final schedule.
If there are any changes though, we’ll post them as soon as we get them.
Is the Family night on Aug 10th the night where they have an actual scrimmage? Is that different than the night practice on Aug 4th?
family night is when they practice at soldire field
the night practice is just when they practice at the stadeum at ONU
but they are both just practices
family night is just when they practice at soldire field
the night practice is at wards field at ONU
but there both just practices
family night on august 10th they have fireworks at ONU after the practice, the fireworks are pretty cool and they have all the kids jump houses and stuff up and running during the practice. good night to take kids out there
What’s youth football day? thanks
Thursday, Aug. 12. Practice 3-5, Run with Staley starts at 10 a.m.
what time is practice august 18th??? 2 different website have 2 different times??????
As far as I know, this is the official schedule. I haven’t heard of any changes, but I’ll post an update if I do.
We are thinking of heading down to see camp August 18th, It’s listed as safety service day now. Anyone know what that is? Is their a practice and / or autograph session?
Thanks….
There will be a practice. There are no official “autograph sessions” but many of the players do choose to give out autographs.
From our “fan’s guide to Bears Camp” article published in July:
“The ropes near the main entrance are prime autograph real estate, but you’ll have to get there early, sacrificing much of the practice to get a good spot. Also, be prepared. Have a good Sharpie or two, along with whatever memorabilia you want signed, within convenient reach of the player. Shouting out the player’s college alma mater is a good idea as well (i.e. “Go Wildcats” if Lance Briggs is nearby). Shameless fans will position themselves near the section for fans with special needs, as those sections are well-attended to by Bears’ players.”
Thanks……I cant seem to find the fan guide…Is it on this site?

What is the hotline number?
There is no hotline for Bears Camp.
However, you can call Olivet’s main phone: (800) 648-1463. Also, Caleb Benoit, sports editor at The Daily Journal, can answer most questions. email him at cbenoit(at)daily-journal.com
There was last year or the year before and it gave last minute camp changes. Is this going to be the last camp at this location?
No. The Bears and Olivet have agreed to come back in 2011, but there is no agreement beyond next year.
Do you know any scheduled practices after Saturday night’s game with the Raiders? Will there be no more practices at Olivet after the 2nd Preseason game? I didn’t make it to any practice sections and would like to try this week (monday or thursday)
The last camp practice at Olivet was Friday. They will return in 2011 though.
